Source: Guardian Australia is investigating systemic racism in the nation’s healthcare system, in the wake of the high-profile deaths of three young children in the past 14 months.

Multiple doctors have told us there are problems with unconscious bias and cultural awareness which negatively impact on patients.Australia’s race discrimination commissioner, Chin Tan, said the health sector suffers from “systemic racism” which undermines access to services, diagnoses, treatment and care.
