Status Epilepticus Hospitalisations Climb

Hospitalisation for status epilepticus seizures rose from 2010 to 2019, disproportionately affecting Black patients, U.S. inpatient data showed. The overall prevalence of status epilepticus hospitalisations more than doubled in that period, reported Gabriela Tantillo, MD, MPH, of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
