RadoncAsia SPOT Contouring Conference 2026

The SPOT Contouring Course, run by RadoncAsia, comes to Singapore on 6 and 7 November 2026 under the theme Choosing the Right Beam for the Right Patient. As proton therapy becomes more widely available across the Asia-Pacific, the programme takes on one of the more pressing questions in radiation oncology: when should protons be chosen over modern photon therapy?

Two days of lectures and debates from regional and international faculty work through three disease sites — brain, prostate, and head and neck cancers — alongside clinical case discussions, contouring exercises, proton versus photon planning comparisons and multidisciplinary panels bringing together radiation oncologists, medical physicists and radiation therapists. Delegates also visit the Advanced Medicine Proton Therapy & Radiotherapy Centre at Biopolis to see pencil beam scanning proton therapy in practice.

For Australian and New Zealand radiation oncologists, it is a practical regional look at a technology decision that is arriving quickly across the Asia-Pacific.
