ASMIRT 2027, the 21st edition of the national conference of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, runs from Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 April 2027 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the venue’s new Goldfields expansion precinct.

The theme, Captivated by Culture, asks medical radiation professionals to reflect on and actively shape the cultures that define their workplaces and their profession, taking in professional identity, education, leadership, research, evidence-based innovation, teamwork and cultures of person-centred care and wellbeing.

The conference is built for practitioners in medical imaging, radiation therapy, sonography and nuclear medicine, and pairs expert-led sessions and workshops with a large trade exhibition. Recent editions have drawn more than 1,000 delegates from across Australia and New Zealand, and the 2027 programme carries CPD endorsement.
