The 15th General Breast Imaging Meeting takes place at Tākina, Wellington, from 4 to 7 March 2027. Convened under the RANZCR Breast Imaging Group, this biennial conference is the premier gathering for breast imaging specialists in Australia and New Zealand.

Drawing 350 to 400 delegates, it brings together breast radiologists, mammographers, sonographers, breast physicians, breast care nurses and the wider multidisciplinary breast care team, along with community advocates. The 2027 programme is a clinically focused, highly interactive scientific agenda delivered by international and local faculty, with three keynote speakers confirmed — among them Professor Wendy DeMartini of Stanford University School of Medicine.

For Australian and New Zealand practitioners, it remains the key regional reference point for breast imaging practice, and it returns to New Zealand for the 2027 edition.
