The job description for the Chief Sonographer position at GCG Global Healthcare requires an experienced and highly skilled professional who will oversee and manage the sonography department of the organisation. The Chief Sonographer will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of sonographers, ensuring that they provide accurate and high-quality sonography services to patients.
GCG Global Healthcare only wants to hear from Chief Sonographers that have managed their own departments from the following countries: South Africa, United Kingdom, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Middle East. Applicants must have at least five years of experience in a leadership role, have an above average command of the English language, and demonstrate exceptional communication and organisational skills.
Essential to the role:
- Collaborate effectively with patients, caregivers, and clinical and administrative teams through clear communication
- Conduct ultrasound examinations of patients with a focus on providing a high level of care, patient safety, and comfort
- Adhere to and implement quality processes, mechanisms, and positive improvements to services, procedures, and workflows
- Have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a chief in your department

Key selection criteria:
- Current relevant Ultrasound licence and professional registration and/or ASA /ASUM membership
- Appropriate qualifications in Sonography/Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
- Experience using Siemens and other vendors equipment desirable
